Asmahan's intoxicating voice and music never fails, but each time I listen to it takes me back to the olive trees in the old neighborhood in our little town
it swiftly brings me under the pomegranates tree
in the little public squeare which holds many fond and sacred memories, not just for me but no doubt for many. Asmahan's calmative voice takes me to strol the narrow but beautiful roads that still echo in my ear many enchanting dialogues from long ago.
